Honda has added 400 new jobs at the Honda Alliston plant north of Toronto. A second shift was added earlier last week which builds the Honda Civic sedan, Acura MDX and the Acura ZDX. This new shift increases daily production to 400 vehicles on one shift and 600 vehicles with both shifts being utilized. Honda's Alliston plant now employs about 4 200 workers.
