2011 Audi S6
You can have it all - luxury, high-performance, reliability and value in a sleek and sexy or conservative package. Here are several top luxury sports cars seriously worth considering.
2011 Mercedez Benz CL65 AMG Coup - A Luxury High Performance "Race Car"
The Mercedes CL65 is one car that doesn't skimp on performance, just because it's a "luxury" car. During my recent test drive, my first 60 seconds behind the wheel convinced me of that. It's powerful 6.0 L V12 engine purred and then quietly and effortlessly accelerated from 0 to 60 in the 4.2 seconds promised. It's ultra-sophisticated Racetimer instrumentation system gives you an incredible amount of real-time driving and performance data such as engine oil and water temperature. It's definitely the luxury car for people who really enjoy driving and appreciate both luxury and high performance. If you can afford it, the price tag of a little over $200,000 is worth it.
2011 Jaguar XJ - Is it a Car or A Luxury Jet?
Looks and luxury ... that's what the XJ is all about. It's one hot looking car inside and out. Sleek, sexy lines and grillwork on the exterior and beautiful, glove soft leather on the inside. The XJ's sophisticated instrument panel makes you feel you're at the controls of a luxury jet! This isn't your father's jag! Fully loaded, it goes for about $115,000.
2010 Lamborghini Gallardo LP560 - Powerful Eye Candy
This is one luxury sports care every performance-loving driver should test drive at least once. High power eye candy best describes the LP560. When you pull away from the curb, heads turn. Accelerating from 0 to 62 in 3.7 seconds and effortlessly negotiating hairpin curves ... gives you a feel of awesome power and control. The only negative is the interior is small and cramped if you're over 6 feet tall and have long legs. The cost? A mere $220,000 or so.
2011 Porsche Cayman - Top Value in A Luxury Sports Car
Luxurious, hot looking, comfortable, powerful yet easy to handle ... that's the Cayman. My recent test drive revealed it has plenty of room for a long-legged 6'2 dude. With a price tag in the mid to upper $60,000 range nicely loaded, it's probably the best value if you want to make a high performance impression behind the wheel.
2010 Audi S6 - Balancing Luxury, Performance and Price
After taking the S6 for a spin, I felt very comfortable with the fact that this was a car that offered luxury, reliability and performance in a family car that offered solid value as well. While it's nowhere near as sexy as the Porsche Cayman, Lamborghini Gallardo, Jaguar XJ or Mercedes CL65, but the S6, at about $72,000 it's an affordable, well-balanced choice for the wheel-heeled driver.
Test drive them all and enjoy!
